PIN will be serving a meal to the homeless on Christmas Day. We also want to give every homeless person a present that would be useful for them over the winter. So we have several Churches and a Middle School putting together backpacks with goodies in them to give to the homeless on Christmas Day. We will probable see about 200 homeless people on Christmas Day so we want to have enough backpacks for everyone. 

So how can you help. If you want to put together a back pack we are asking that every backpack contain a pair of gloves, beanie cap, scarf. You are then welcome to add any other items that you feel led to give.

On December 17th the Tri Club at Final Kick is hosting a Coat Run to get people to donate Coats for the homeless. The run is free and there are no purchases required. Basically everyone will start the race in a gently used coat, then at the 1/2 mile mark we will have bins where they will drop off the coat then run the rest of the race. At the end of the race Final Kick will have some breakfast and hot chocolate available.

There is still room at PIN's open house at our office. It will be Tuesday October 4th from 7PM to 8:15PM at PIN's office. On Wednesday September 21st from 5PM to 9PM PIN will be receiving 10% of all receipts at the Lucky Oyster at 2165 General Booth Blvd #154 Virginia Beach, VA 23454. If this sounds interesting to you then we would like to invite you to our open house on Tuesday October 4th at PIN's office from 7PM to 8:30PM. We will provide dinner and drinks (soda's, water, and coffee). The Rock and Roll half Marathon went great we had over 30 runners run to raise money. We had over 50 homeless people volunteer to work the water stop, and we got some love from the newspaper and the local news... What a great Labor Day weekend.
